The HME Read Process

Horse Master Elite evaluates every UK and Irish race by synthesizing complex datasets. The system processes form, ratings, pace, market trends, and connections to generate the HME read. This represents the primary output for any given race. Alongside this, the system identifies the Main Danger. Every data point is weighed to ensure that the final output reflects the current racing landscape before the starting gate opens.

The 10-Minute Methodology

Timing is critical to the integrity of the data. All HME reads lock exactly 10 minutes before the off time for each race. Once this deadline passes, the frozen read is saved permanently. This methodology ensures that performance is judged strictly against the information available before the race. No adjustments or retrospective changes are ever made to the data once the freeze occurs. This provides a transparent record of the analysis as it stood during the final pre-race moments.

HME Clear Reads

We introduced the HME Clear Read designation on 15 October 2026. A race qualifies as an HME Clear Read when the HME read holds a minimum 35% chance and maintains a lead of at least 15 points over the main danger. This classification filters high-confidence scenarios based on specific quantitative thresholds. These designations are applied automatically by the system when a race profile meets these exact requirements.

Results and Accountability

Results are settled immediately after each race concludes. The system maintains a complete archive of every analysis generated, including all losing reads. By keeping every record, we ensure full accountability for our methodology. Reviewing these past records allows users to observe how the HME read performs across different tracks, ground conditions, and race types.
